เมื่อวันที่ 30 กรกฎาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์และบำเพ็ญสาธารณกุศล เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 28 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ หอสมุดประจำกรุงบูคาเรสต์ (Bucharest Metropolitan Library) โดยมีนาง Ramona Mezei ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่หอสมุดประจำกรุงบูคาเรสต์ ให้การต้อนรับ

ในโอกาสนี้ นางสาวพนาลี ชูศรี อุปทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้มอบหนังสือจำนวน 20 เล่ม ซึ่งมีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทยในหลากหลายมิติ อาทิ สถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ไทย ประวัติศาสตร์ ศิลปวัฒนธรรม วิถีชีวิต และอาหารไทย เพื่อเป็นแหล่งข้อมูลสำหรับผู้สนใจศึกษาค้นคว้าเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทย โดยหนังสือดังกล่าวจะได้รับการบรรจุไว้ของห้องอ่านหนังสือของหอสมุดฯ เพื่อให้บริการแก่ประชาชนทั่วไป รวมทั้งมอบสมุดภาพระบายสีลายศิลปะไทยให้แก่เด็กและเยาวชนโรมาเนีย

นอกจากนี้ อุปทูตฯ ได้บรรยายให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับประเทศไทยและสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ไทยแก่เยาวชนผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมและเจ้าหน้าที่ของหอสมุดฯ พร้อมนำข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมกันทำความสะอาดและจัดระเบียบชั้นหนังสือภายในหอสมุดฯ เพื่อเป็นการบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์

Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest organizes a volunteer activity in honour of His Majesty the King of Thailand on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary, 28 July 2026, at the Bucharest Metropolitan Library.

On 30 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest organized a volunteer activity in honour of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary, 28 July 2026, at the Bucharest Metropolitan Library. The Embassy delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms. Ramona Mezei, General Director of the Bucharest Metropolitan Library.

On this occasion, Ms. Panalee Choosri, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, donated 20 books on various aspects of Thailand, including the Thai Monarchy, Thai history, arts and culture, way of life, and Thai cuisine. The donated books will become part of the Library’s Reading Room collection and serve as a valuable resource for the general public and all those interested in learning more about Thailand. The Thai art colouring books were also given to Romanian children who participated in the event.

Ms. Panalee Choosri also delivered a presentation on Thailand and the Thai Monarchy to participating youth and library staff. She then led Embassy officials and staff in cleaning and organizing the library bookshelves as part of the volunteer activity for the public benefit.
