เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2569 น.ส.พนาลี ชูศรี อุปทูตฯ พร้อมด้วย น.ส.ณัฐวรา สนิทวงศ์ เลขานุการเอก สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ร่วมแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสที่มหาวิทยาลัยเทคนิคแห่งเมืองคลูจ-นาโปกา มอบดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ ให้แก่ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. นายแพทย์พงษ์รักษ์ ศรีบัณฑิตมงคล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัย รวมทั้งสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้ร่วมหารือถึงการผลักดันความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา การวิจัยร่วมในสาขาต่างๆ อาทิ วิศวกรรม ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ พลังงานสะอาด การแพทย์ ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาการศึกษาของทั้งสองประเทศ และเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนต่อประชาชนของไทยกับโรมาเนียต่อไปด้วย
Royal Thai Embassy Attends Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony for Chiang Mai University President
On 12 May 2026, Ms. Panalee Choosri, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., together with Ms. Natwara Snidvongs, First Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest, attended the congratulatory ceremony on the occasion that the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca has conferred an Honorary Doctorate upon Professor Dr. Pongrak Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University.
On this occasion, both universities, together with the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest, also discussed advancing cooperation in education, student exchange programs, and joint research in various fields such as engineering, artificial intelligence, clean energy, and medicine.
These initiatives will contribute to the development of education in both countries and further strengthen people-to-people relations between Thailand and Romania.
