เมื่อวันที่ 18 เม.ย. 57 นายคมกริช วรคามิน เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ และนางดวงใจ วรคามิน ภริยา ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานวันสงกรานต์และงานเลี้ยงรับรอง ที่ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ โดยได้เชิญนายราดู พ็อดโกรัน รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโรมาเนียและภริยา เป็นแขกเกียรติยศ นอกจากนี้ มีผู้บริหารและนักการทูตโรมาเนีย คณะทูตต่างประเทศ และคู่สมรส และชุมชนชาวไทยเข้าร่วมด้วย กิจกรรมฯ นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมไทยและส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวมายังประเทศไทยในโรมาเนีย โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จัดขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือกับสำนักงาน ททท. ณ นครแฟรงเฟิร์ต และกรุงบูคาเรสต์ 

On 18 April 2014, H.E. Mr. Komgrit Varakamin, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania and his wife, Mrs. Duangchai Varakamin, organized Songkran Day reception at their residence to promote Thai culture and tourism in Romania. The distinguished guests were H.E. Mr. Radu Podgorean and his wife, the State Secretary for Political Analysis and Liaison with Parliament as the guest of honour, as well as dignitaries from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, members of the diplomatic corps and members of Thai Community. The event was organized in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand offices in Frankfurt and Bucharest.
