เมื่อวันที่ 6 กรกฎาคม 2560 นายคมกริช วรคามิน เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้ให้สัมภาษณ์ในรายการพิเศษเนื่องในโอกาสการฉลองอาเซียนครบรอบ 50 ปี โดยรายการดังกล่าวจะออกอากาศทางวิทยุโทรทัศน์โรมาเนียช่อง TVR ในวันที่ 6 สิงหาคมศกนี้ เพื่อเผยแพร่และประชาสัมพันธ์องค์กรอาเซียนให้เป็นที่รู้จักมากยิ่งขึ้นในโรมาเนีย รวมทั้งเผยแพร่บทบาทสำคัญของไทยในอาเซียนโดยเฉพาะการรับหน้าที่เป็นประเทศผู้ประสานงานความสัมพันธ์ไทย-สหภาพยุโรป ระหว่างปี 2558-2561

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวถึงประสบการณ์ในการทำงานที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงฮานอย สองครั้ง ในช่วงก่อนและหลังสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนาม เข้าเป็นประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน

   On 6 July 2017, H.E. Mr. Komgrit Varakamin, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, gave a special interview about the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which will be soon broadcasted on Romania's TVR channel. The programme is to celebrate on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the foundation of ASEAN and to increase Romanian public's awareness about ASEAN.  
Ambassador  Komgrit Varakamin also highlighted on the role of Thailand in ASEAN, especially as the country coordinator of ASEAN-EU dialogue relations during 2015-2018. 

   The Thai diplomat also mentioned about experience while working at the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, two times, one before and the other after the Socialist Republic of Vietnam became a member country of ASEAN.
