On 20 - 21 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest brought a troupe of traditional Thai performers from Thailand to participate in WishFest 2026 at Parc Titan in Bucharest, showcasing the richness and beauty of Thai arts and culture to Romanian and international audiences. The cultural programme featured four traditional Thai performances: The Four Regions of Thailand, Umbrella Dance (Fon Rom), Khon (Masked Dance Drama): Battle Scene, and Hanuman and Benjakai. Through these performances, the Embassy sought to promote Thailand’s unique cultural identity and raise awareness of the country’s rich cultural heritage, while enhancing Thailand’s image and visibility abroad. The event also provided an opportunity to strengthen people-to-people ties between Thailand and Romania through cultural exchange and entertainment.
