On 24 October 2025, Ms. Supattra Auearee, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, attended and extended congratulations at the opening ceremony of “Sushi Hub,” located on Strada Edgar Quinet 7 in Bucharest. The restaurant is operated by Khun Maria (Panudda Panait), owner of the well-known Thai restaurant “Tom Yum,” together with her Romanian business partner, Mr. Gabriel Cristian Puiu.
“Sushi Hub” was born out of Khun Maria’s passion for sushi and Japanese cuisine, as well as her desire to build upon the continuing success of “Tom Yum,” which has gained popularity among Romanian customers.
At present, there are four Thai restaurants in Bucharest:
1. Kunnai – located at Copilului 6–12
2. Tom Yum – located at Calea Victoriei 23
3. Isan Thai – located at Capitan Gheorghe Demetriade 10
4. Soi Thai 31– located at Aviatorilor 31
In addition, there is the ThaiMe Food Truck, reflecting the growing popularity of Asian — particularly Thai — cuisine in Romania.
The Royal Thai Embassy would like to invite everyone to visit Sushi Hub and enjoy authentic Thai flavors at the Thai restaurants across Bucharest. The Embassy anticipates the opening of more Thai restaurants in the near future — a positive sign of the rising appreciation for Thai cuisine and the success of Thai entrepreneurs in Romania.

สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมงานเปิดตัวร้านอาหาร “Sushi Hub” ของนักธุรกิจไทยในกรุงบูคาเรสต์
เมื่อวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2568 เวลา 18.00 น. น.ส. สุพัตรา เอื้ออารีย์ อุปทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าร่วมและแสดงความยินดีในงานเปิดร้านอาหาร “Sushi Hub” ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่ถนน Strada Edgar Quinet 7 กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ดำเนินการโดยคุณเกด Panudda Panait เจ้าของร้านอาหารไทย “ต้มยำ” และคุณ Gabriel Cristian Puiu หุ้นส่วนชาวโรมาเนีย
ร้าน “Sushi Hub” เกิดจากความรักในการทำซูชิและอาหารญี่ปุ่นของคุณเกด ตลอดจนเป็นการต่อยอดความสำเร็จจากร้านอาหารไทย “ต้มยำ” ที่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างต่อเนื่องในหมู่ลูกค้าชาวโรมาเนีย
ปัจจุบัน กรุงบูคาเรสต์มีร้านอาหารไทยจำนวน 4 ร้าน ได้แก่

สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอเชิญชวนทุกท่านชิมอาหารจากร้าน Sushi Hub และลิ้มลองรสชาติอาหารไทยแท้จากร้านอาหารไทยในกรุงบูคาเรสต์ ซึ่งคาดว่าจะมีการเปิดร้านอาหารไทยแห่งใหม่เพิ่มขึ้นในอนาคต อันเป็นสัญญาณที่ดีของความนิยมในอาหารไทยและความสำเร็จของผู้ประกอบการไทยในโรมาเนีย
