Updated Entry Requirements for Thailand (effective from 10 January 2023)

**The following entry requirements apply to travellers who arrive in Thailand by air from 10 January 2023**

 

  1. Travellers are not required to provide proof of full vaccination and/or related documents.

 

    2. Travellers from countries that have entry requirements which require them to present negative RT-PCR test results upon arrival might as
        well have health insurance with minimum coverage of 10,000 USD, inclusive of COVID-19 treatment for the entire period of stay in
        Thailand plus 7 days. Those with business arrangement, including flight crew, students, foreigners who reside in Thailand may present a
        letter from their host/company or other forms of insurance (for example, medical insurance under the Thai social security scheme)
        instead of a health insurance. (Currently, Romania and Bulgaria do not implement any entry requirements/measures,
        however, please check with the Romanian/Bulgarian authorities for updates)

  1. The quarantine officer will randomly check the proof of insurance of travellers from those countries. If travellers do not have insurance, they will be required to purchase health insurance before the Immigration.

 

    4. Holder of Thai passport and transit/transfer passengers are exempted health insurance requirements.

 

    5. Any traveller having symptoms of COVID-19 during travel shall be recommended to test at arrival.
