On 9 September 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, Bucharest participated in WishFest 2023 - a cultural festival inspired by the Loy Krathong Festival in Thailand, at Lacul Floreasca in Bucharest. The Embassy organised a booth to promote Thailand, tourism, culture, and had handmade "Krathong" (traditional decorated buoyants) on display. Participants also had a chance to take photos with Thai-style backdrops and wear traditional Thai costumes which received much interest from the general public. The Embassy's participation in the festival was broadcasted by Pro TV and Romania TV and an online article regarding this festival was published on the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency's (BTA) website.

เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2566 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้เข้าร่วมงาน WishFest 2023 ณ Lacul Floreasca กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ซึ่งเป็นเทศกาลทางวัฒนธรรมที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากเทศกาลลอยกระทงของไทย โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ร่วมออกร้านประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศไทย การท่องเที่ยวไทย วัฒนธรรมไทย และได้จัดทำกระทงเพื่อจัดแสดง รวมทั้งยังจัดให้มีมุมถ่ายรูปและเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ลองสวมใส่ชุดไทย ซึ่งบูธของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้รับความสนใจเป็นอย่างมาก นอกจากนี้ สถานีโทรทัศน์ Pro TV และ Romania TV ของโรมาเนีย และสำนักข่าว Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA) ของบัลแกเรีย ยังได้เผยแพร่เกี่ยวกับการจัดงานดังกล่าวทางโทรทัศน์และบทความออนไลน์อีกด้วย
