On 14 May 2026, Ms. Panalee Choosri, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest, together with Ms. Natwara Snidvongs, First Secretary, held discussions with Ms. Nicoleta Ene, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate for Persons Registration, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania. Both sides exchanged views on civil registration and family registration systems of both countries and discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the protection of Thai nationals in Romania, which will help facilitate consular services and strengthen coordination between the relevant authorities of the two countries.
