เมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม 2569 น.ส.พนาลี ชูศรี อุปทูตฯ พร้อมด้วย น.ส.ณัฐวรา สนิทวงศ์ เลขานุการเอก สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะพบหารือนางมาเรีย ฟอร์นา ผู้ว่าการจังหวัดคลูจ ประเทศโรมาเนีย โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือถึงโอกาสความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยกับจังหวัดคลูจ โดยเฉพาะการส่งเสริมด้านการค้าการลงทุน ความร่วมมือด้านเทคโนโลยีและสตาร์ทอัพ ความร่วมมือระดับอุดมศึกษา รวมทั้งการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรม
จังหวัดคลูจ โดยเฉพาะเมืองคลูจ-นาโปกา เป็นเมืองใหญ่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของโรมาเนีย และศูนย์กลางของภูมิภาคทรานซิลเวเนีย ถือเป็นหนึ่งในเมืองสำคัญที่สุดของประเทศทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ การศึกษา เทคโนโลยี วัฒนธรรม และเศรษฐกิจสมัยใหม่ไว้ด้วยกันอย่างโดดเด่นในโรมาเนีย เป็นศูนย์กลางการศึกษาที่สำคัญทางการแพทย์ ศูนย์กลางเทคโนโลยี (IT hub) ที่เติบโตเร็วที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในยุโรปตะวันออก มีบริษัทสตาร์ทอัพและบริษัทต่างชาติจำนวนมาก
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Pays Courtesy Call on Prefect of Cluj County
On 13 May 2026, Ms. Panalee Choosri, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., together with Ms. Natwara Snidvongs, First Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest, paid a courtesy call and held discussions with Mrs. Maria Forna, Prefect of Cluj County, Romania. Both sides exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation between Thailand and Cluj, particularly in promoting trade and investment, collaboration in technology and startups, higher education cooperation, as well as enhancing cooperation in tourism and culture.
Cluj County, especially the city of Cluj-Napoca, is a major city in northwestern Romania and the center of the Transylvania region. It is considered one of the most important cities in the country in terms of economy, education, technology, culture, and modern economic development. It is a key hub for medical education and one of the fastest-growing IT hubs in Eastern Europe, hosting a large number of startups and international companies.
