Remark: This type of visa is issued to applicants for the following purposes: 

1) to enter the Kingdom for tourism purpose (category "TR") 
2) to seek a medical treatment in the Kingdom. (category "MT")

Required documents for Single Entry Tourist Visa and "MT" visa application: 

1. Passport with validity not less than 6 months, one copy of passport.
2. Visa application form completely filled out. 
3. Recent photograph of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm.) taken within six months. The photograph should be glued to the form and not stapled. 
4. Evidence of travel to and from Thailand (round trip air / transportation tickets).
5. Booking of accommodation for the entire period. 
6. Employment certificate and bank statement.
7. ID or residence permit as a proof of permanent residency in Romania or Bulgaria and a copy of the document 

1. Letter from the hospital in Thailand, medical history, medical certificates (Category “MT”)

Required documents for Multiple Entry Tourist Visa application: 

1. Passport with validity not less than 6 months and one copy of passport.
2. Visa application form completely filled out. 
3. Recent photograph of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm.) taken within six months. The photograph should be glued to the form and not stapled. 
4. ID or residence permit as a proof of permanent residency in Romania or Bulgaria and a copy of the document.
5. Bank Statement with minimum balance of 6,000 Euro deposited for the last 6 months
6. Employment certificate (specifying position, salary, number and date of employment contract)
7. Confirmed Round trip flight tickets (to and from Thailand).
8. Hotel Reservation confirmation

Evidence of adequate finance (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family or equivalent in other hard currency) to be shown at the time of arrival upon request of authorities concerned.

Application forms and other documents with anything stapled on them will not be accepted.

Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.

The payment in cash of visa fee (EUR) when handing over visa application!

Validity of a Visa 

- 3 months for one entry

- 6 months for multiple entries

Period of stay

not exceeding 60 days.

Travellers coming to Thailand with Tourist visa or medical treatment visa are permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period not exceeding 60 days.
