On 10 June 2013, H.E. Tasanawadee Miancharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, visited Ploiesti Municipality following the invitation by Mr. Aurelian Gogulescu, President of Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Both of them have discussed the ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and identify opportunities for a good economic cooperation between Romania, particularly Prahova county, and Thailand.  In addition, H.E. Ambassador also had a meeting with representatives of Prahova county and Ploiesti Municipality authorities including Mr. Mircea Cosma, President of Prahova County Council, Mr. Marius Sersea, Governor of Prahova County and Mr. Iulian Teodorescu, Deputy Mayor of Ploiesti Municipality, as well as visited a large-scale textile factory which is one of the leading industry of Prahova county. The H.E. Ambassador also gave an interview to the local media on this occasion. 

เมื่อวันที่ 10 มิถุนายน 2556 เอกอัครราชทูตทัศนาวดี เมี้ยนเจริญได้เดินทางไปเยือนเมือง Ploiesti เขต Prahova ตามคำเชิญของนาย Aurelian Gogulescu ประธานหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมของเขต Prahova ซึ่งเป็นเขตเศรษฐกิจขนาดใหญ่ของโรมาเนีย เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญ และเขตการผลิตไวน์ที่มีชื่อเสียง ตลอดจนเป็นศูนย์กลางอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันและก๊าซ และอุตสาหกรรมอื่นๆ อาทิ การผลิตเสื้อผ้าส่งออก โดยในการเยือนครั้งนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้พบปะแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นและลู่ทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจกับประธานหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมของเขต Prahova และเยี่ยมคารวะนาย Mircea Cosma, President of Prahova County Council, นาย Marius Sersea, Governor of Prahova County และ นาย Iulian Teodorescu, Deputy Mayor of Ploiesti Municipality รวมถึงเยี่ยมชมกิจการโรงงานผลิตเสื้อผ้าสำเร็จรูปขนาดใหญ่ ตลอดจนให้สัมภาษณ์แก่สถานีโทรทัศน์และสื่อมวลชนท้องถิ่นอีกด้วย
