Amazing Thailand Road Show in Romania on 2 September 2024

On September 2, 2024, Miss Dao Vibulpanich, the Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, attended and delivered welcoming remarks at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)'s "Amazing Thailand Road Show" in Romania, held at the InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest.

Organized by TAT with FlyDubai as the valued airline partner, the event aimed to facilitate business matching between Thai and Romanian tourism entrepreneurs and to promote Thai tourism among Romanians.

In her speech, the Ambassador emphasized that the "Amazing Thailand Road Show" is a testament to the growing relationship between Thailand and Romania, especially in the tourism sector. She highlighted that Thailand has become a favored destination for Romanian tourists, who are drawn to its stunning beaches, rich culture, and vibrant cities. The increasing number of Romanian visitors reflects the strong ties between the two nations, and Romanian tourists have become an essential part of Thailand’s tourism landscape. The recent introduction of 60-day visa-free travel for Romanian citizens is expected to further strengthen these ties and create even more opportunities to welcome Romanians to Thailand.
