On 9 September 2025, Ambassador Dao Vibulpanich paid a farewell call on H.E. Ms. Oana-Silvia Țoiu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, on the occasion of the completion of her tenure.

Ambassador Dao expressed appreciation on the close and cordial ties between the two countries for over 50 years. Furthermore, the Ambassador reaffirmed Thailand's readiness to host the 20th Political Consultations which both sides viewed as a key mechanism for constructive discussions to further advance our bilateral cooperation, especially in areas of trade and investment.

Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu took this opportunity to express sincere appreciation to the Ambassador for her outstanding contribution to strengthening Thailand - Romania bilateral relations. The Foreign Minister also highlighted an increasing number of tourists from Romania travelled to Thailand thanks to Thailand’s 60-day Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme which took effect during the Ambassador’s tenure last year.

เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ เข้าพบรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโรมาเนีย เพื่ออำลาในโอกาสพ้นจากหน้าที่

เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2568 นางสาวดาว วิบูลย์พานิช เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้เข้าพบนางสาว Oana-Silvia Țoiu รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโรมาเนีย เพื่ออำลาในโอกาสที่จะพ้นจากหน้าที่ โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้แสดงความยินดีที่ไทยและโรมาเนียมีความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดกันมาเป็นเวลากว่า 50 ปี และได้แสดงความพร้อมของฝ่ายไทยในการเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมหารือทางการเมือง (Political Consultations) ครั้งที่ 20 ซึ่งทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องว่าการประชุมดังกล่าวจะเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีต่อไป โดยเฉพาะในด้านการค้าและการลงทุน

ในโอกาสนี้ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโรมาเนียได้แสดงความขอบคุณแก่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ที่ได้ดำเนินการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เพื่อยกระดับความสัมพันธ์ไทย - โรมาเนียให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น โดยปัจจุบัน มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวโรมาเนียเดินทางมาไทยเพิ่มขึ้น อันเป็นผลมาจากมาตรการยกเว้นการตรวจลงตรา 60 วัน (ผ.60) ของไทย ซึ่งมีผลบังคับใช้ในช่วงการดำรงตำแหน่งของเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เมื่อปี 2567
