On 4 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Phuchphop Mongkolnavin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Romania, presented his Letters of Credence and the Letter of Recall of his predecessor to H.E. Mr. Nicușor Dan, President of Romania, at the Cotroceni Palace.

Following the ceremony, President Nicușor Dan and Ambassador Phuchphop Mongkolnavin exchanged views on the close and longstanding relations between Thailand and Romania, which have developed over more than five decades. Both sides expressed their shared desire to further strengthen bilateral economic cooperation by promoting trade and investment and diversifying cooperation in various sectors, particularly education, technology, and cybersecurity.

The Ambassador welcomed the increasing number of Romanian tourists visiting Thailand and expressed his expectation that this positive trend would contribute to further expanding people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. He also expressed Thailand’s readiness to support the exchange of high-level visits and business delegations between Thailand and Romania in the future.

On this occasion, the Ambassador was accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. Phantuma Mongkolnavin.

เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำโรมาเนียยื่นพระราชสาส์นตราตั้งต่อประธานาธิบดีโรมาเนีย

เมื่อวันที่ 4 กันยายน 2569 นายพืชภพ มงคลนาวิน เอกอัครราชทูตวิสามัญผู้มีอำนาจเต็มแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยประจำโรมาเนีย ได้ยื่นพระราชสาส์นตราตั้งและพระราชสาส์นถอนเอกอัครราชทูตคนก่อนหน้า ต่อ นาย Nicușor Dan ประธานาธิบดีโรมาเนีย ณ ทำเนียบประธานาธิบดี

ภายหลังพิธีการ ประธานาธิบดีฯ และเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์อันใกล้ชิดและยาวนานระหว่างไทยกับโรมาเนีย ซึ่งได้พัฒนามาอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นเวลากว่า 5 ทศวรรษ ทั้งสองฝ่ายแสดงความประสงค์ร่วมกันที่จะเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างสองประเทศให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น โดยส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุน ตลอดจนขยายความร่วมมือในสาขาต่าง ๆ โดยเฉพาะด้านการศึกษา เทคโนโลยี และความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยินดีต่อจำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวชาวโรมาเนียที่เดินทางไปประเทศไทยที่เพิ่มขึ้น และหวังว่าแนวโน้มดังกล่าวจะช่วยส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศให้เพิ่มมากยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ได้แสดงความพร้อมของฝ่ายไทยในการสนับสนุนและอำนวยความสะดวกในการแลกเปลี่ยนเยือนระหว่างกันทั้งในระดับสูงและคณะผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจระหว่างไทยกับโรมาเนียในอนาคต

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตฯ มีนางพันธุมา มงคลนาวิน คู่สมรส เข้าร่วมในพิธีการด้วย
