On 11 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Phuchphop Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, hosted the “Thai Kitchen to the World” event at Olovina Garden in Bucharest, welcoming guests from the diplomatic corps, media, and influencers in Romania’s food and tourism sectors, as well as friends of Thailand.

 

The Ambassador highlighted that Thai cuisine is not only a bridge between our peoples, but also a gateway to Thailand and Thai culture. Thai cuisine brings the Thai and Romanian peoples closer through our shared values of food, family and hospitality.

 

Guests enjoyed live cooking demonstrations of Pad Thai with Shrimp, Green Curry Chicken and Mango Sticky Rice, and explored authentic Thai ingredients, sauces, seasonings and rice available in Romania. Oriental Market and Asia Bucate, importers of Thai food products and seasonings, also joined the event to showcase their products. The Royal Thai Embassy would also like to express its appreciation to MAMA and Revitaz for supporting their products for the guests’ goodie bags.

 

The Ambassador also presented Thai SELECT certificates to Isan Thai Restaurant and Isan Thai Food Truck, together with the Director of Thai Trade Center in Budapest, recognising their commitment to authentic Thai cuisine and high culinary standards.

 

With nearly 60,000 Romanian visitors travelling to Thailand in 2025, the Ambassador expressed his hope that greater access to authentic Thai cuisine will inspire more Romanians to discover Thailand and further strengthen tourism, trade, business and people-to-people connections between the two countries.

 

“Thai Kitchen to the World” is not simply about bringing Thai food to Romania, but about bringing Thai culture, friendship and connection closer to the Romanian people.

 

เมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2569 นายพืชภพ มงคลนาวิน เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำโรมาเนีย กล่าวเปิดงาน “Thai Kitchen to the World” จัดโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ณ Olovina Garden กรุงบูคาเรสต์ โดยมีแขกรับเชิญจากคณะทูต สื่อมวลชน และอินฟลูเอนเซอร์ในแวดวงอาหารและการท่องเที่ยวของโรมาเนีย เข้าร่วมงาน

 

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ กล่าวถึงอาหารไทยในฐานะส่วนสำคัญของมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมไทย และเป็นสะพานเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนไทยและโรมาเนีย ผ่านคุณค่าร่วมกันด้านอาหาร ครอบครัว และการต้อนรับด้วยไมตรีจิต

 

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เน้นย้ำว่า อาหารไทยไม่เพียงเป็นสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นประตูสู่ประเทศไทยและวัฒนธรรมไทยอีกด้วย อาหารไทยจึงช่วยให้ชาวไทยและชาวโรมาเนียใกล้ชิดกันยิ่งขึ้นผ่านค่านิยมร่วมกันด้านอาหาร ครอบครัว และการต้อนรับด้วยไมตรีจิต

 

ภายในงาน ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ชมการสาธิตการปรุงอาหารไทย ได้แก่ ผัดไทยกุ้ง แกงเขียวหวานไก่ และข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง พร้อมเยี่ยมชมการจัดแสดงวัตถุดิบ เครื่องปรุง ซอส และข้าวไทยแท้ที่มีจำหน่ายในโรมาเนีย โดยมีร้านค้า Oriental Market และร้านค้า Asia Bucate ผู้นำเข้าสินค้าและเครื่องปรุงอาหารไทย เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงสินค้าภายในงาน ทั้งนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณ MAMA และ Revitaz สำหรับการสนับสนุนผลิตภัณฑ์เป็นของที่ระลึกแก่แขกผู้เข้าร่วมงาน

 

ในโอกาสเดียวกัน เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้มอบ ประกาศนียบัตร Thai SELECT ให้แก่ร้าน Isan Thai Restaurant และร้าน Isan Thai Food Truck โดยมีผู้อำนวยการ Thai Trade Center บูดาเปสต์ร่วมด้วย เพื่อรับรองความมุ่งมั่นในการนำเสนออาหารไทยที่มีรสชาติและความเป็นไทยอย่างแท้จริง ตลอดจนมาตรฐานด้านอาหารในระดับสูง

 

ในปี 2568 มีนักท่องเที่ยวโรมาเนียเดินทางไปประเทศไทยเกือบ 60,000 คน เอกอัครราชทูตฯ หวังว่าการทำให้อาหารไทยแท้เข้าถึงผู้บริโภคในโรมาเนียได้มากขึ้น จะช่วยสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้ชาวโรมาเนียเดินทางไปสัมผัสประเทศไทย และส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ด้านการท่องเที่ยว การค้า ธุรกิจ และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น

 

“ครัวไทยสู่ครัวโลก” ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงการนำอาหารไทยมาสู่โรมาเนีย แต่เป็นการนำวัฒนธรรม มิตรภาพ และความผูกพันของไทยมาสู่ชาวโรมาเนีย
