ASEAN Committee in Bucharest (ACB)’s visit to the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP)

On 30 July 2025, Ambassador Dao Vibulpanich joined the ASEAN Committee in Bucharest (ACB)’s visit to the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) in Mugurele. The visit was hosted by Dr. Habil. Daniel Ursescu, Head of Laser System Department. The ELI-NP, as key part of the Pan-European Extreme Light Infrastructure, is the leading research facility focusing mainly on high-power lasers and nuclear physics. It is considered the world's most advanced high-power laser and Romania’s largest research funding for science.
