On 10 June 2026, Ms. Panalee Choosri, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest, met with Police Quaestor Tiberiu Giurea, Inspector General of the General Inspectorate for Immigration, to exchange information on the protection of Thai nationals residing in Romania. Both sides expressed their readiness to maintain close cooperation in promoting legal and fair employment opportunities for Thai workers in Romania, as well as in enhancing confidence and facilitating travel between the peoples of the two countries.
