เมื่อวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม 2568 นางสาวดาว วิบูลย์พานิช เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งเอกอัครราชทูตวิสามัญผู้มีอำนาจเต็มแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐบัลแกเรีย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้เข้าพบนาย Georg Georgiev รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐบัลแกเรีย เพื่ออำลาในโอกาสที่จะพ้นจากหน้าที่

ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ย้ำความมุ่งมั่นที่จะกระชับความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีไทย - บัลแกเรียอย่างรอบด้าน โดยเฉพาะการส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูง การจัดการประชุมหารือทางการเมือง (Political Consultations)รวมถึงความร่วมือทางเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน และการท่องเที่ยว นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีแก่ฝ่ายบัลแกเรียที่อยู่ระหว่างการดำเนินการเพื่อเข้าร่วมเขตยูโรโซนอย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2569 และได้ขอรับการสนับสนุนจากฝ่ายบัลแกเรียในการผลักดันคำขอยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราเข้าเขตเชงเกนสำหรับผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางธรรมดาของไทย การเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) ไทย-สหภาพยุโรป (อียู) ตลอดจนการให้สัตยาบันต่อกรอบความตกลงว่าด้วยความเป็นหุ้นส่วนและความร่วมมือรอบด้านระหว่างไทยและอียู (Thai-EU PCA) เพื่อให้ PCA มีผลบังคับใช้ทั้งฉบับ

Ambassador of Thailand to Romania with accreditation to the Republic of Bulgaria paid a farewell call on Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria

On 22 July 2025, H.E. Miss Dao Vibulpanich, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania with accreditation to the Republic of Bulgaria, paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Georg Georgiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Both sides reiterated their commitment in strengthening bilateral relations in all areas, including exchanges of high-level visits and political consultations as well as cooperation in economy, trade, investment and tourism. Ambassador Dao Vibulpanich took this opportunity to congratulate Bulgaria on its accession to the euro area on 1 January 2026 and seek its support on visa-free access to the Schengen area for Thai ordinary passport holders, Thai-EU FTA negotiations and Bulgaria’s internal procedures for ratification of the Thailand-EU Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) to be applied in whole.
