On 22 September 2023, Mr. Krittidech Wongnorraset, Counsellor, represented the Royal Thai Embassy, Bucharest and delivered an opening remark at the opening ceremony of AsiaFest 2023 at the National Arena in Bucharest. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Radu-Nicolae Mihaiu, Mayor of Sector 2, and joined by Ambassador of Indonesia, Ambassador of Japan, representatives from Asian Embassies in Romania, namely Bangladesh, China, and India.

 

On 24 September 2023, diplomats and staffs of the Embassy and the Thai community in Romania also joined the national costumes parade. The activity received interests from a number of participants who have been to Thailand and who are interested in Thailand, Thai culture, and Thai cuisine.

 

AsiaFest is the first Asian cultural festival in Romania which was held for the first time in 2013. The festival showcases Asian cultural performances, booths from Asian Embassies and cultural institutes, booths selling Asian products and cooking ingredients, and Asian food and beverage stalls. Main participants of the festival are Romanian youths who have interests in Asian cultures and young professionals.

 

 

 

เมื่อวันที่ 22 กันยายน 2566 นายกฤติเดช วงษ์นรเศรษฐ์ ที่ปรึกษา ได้เป็นผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดและร่วมกล่าวเปิดงาน AsiaFest 2023 ณ National Arena กรุงบูคาเรสต์ โดยมีนาย Radu-Nicolae Mihaiu นายกเทศมนตรีเขต 2 กรุงบูคาเรสต์ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน และมีเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซียประจำโรมาเนีย เอกอัครราชทูตญี่ปุ่นประจำโรมาเนีย และผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตเอเชียในโรมาเนีย ได้แก่ บังกลาเทศ จีน อินเดีย เข้าร่วมด้วย

 

ต่อมาในวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2566 ข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยชุมชนไทยในโรมาเนียได้เข้าร่วมการเดินพาเหรดชุดประจำชาติ ซึ่งกิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก ทั้งผู้ที่เคยเดินทางไปท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยและผู้ที่สนใจประเทศไทย วัฒนธรรมไทย และอาหารไทย

 

งาน AsiaFest เป็นงานส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมเอเชียงานแรกในโรมาเนีย จัดขึ้นครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2556 โดยภายในงานมีการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรม การออกร้านประชาสัมพันธ์ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตประเทศเอเชียและสถาบันทางวัฒนธรรม การออกร้านจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์วัตถุดิบและเครื่องปรุงจากเอเชีย รวมทั้งร้านอาหารและเครื่องดื่มเอเชีย โดยผู้เข้าร่วมงานส่วนใหญ่เป็นกลุ่มเยาวชนที่มีความสนใจในวัฒนธรรมเอเชียและกลุ่มคนวัยทำงาน
