On 24 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Phuchphop Mongkolnavin, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Romania, accompanied by Mrs. Phantuma Mongkolnavin, his spouse, and Ms. Panalee Choosri, Minister-Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest, visited the “Ana Aslan” National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics in Bucharest, Romania. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Sergiu Pantea, Manager of the Institute.

 

During the visit, the Ambassador discussed potential areas of cooperation between Thailand and the Institute. Thailand is currently an ageing society and has become an important and promising market for healthcare and wellness services. Meanwhile, the Institute, widely known as the “Ana Aslan Institute,” has a long-standing reputation and international recognition for its expertise in gerontology, geriatrics and anti-ageing medicine.

 

The delegation also toured the Institute’s facilities, including the building and research rooms where Madame Ana Aslan conducted her pioneering research, as well as the Institute’s elderly care facilities, where the original formulations developed by Madame Aslan continue to be used in treatment.

เมื่อวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2569 นายพืชภพ มงคลนาวิน เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำโรมาเนีย พร้อมด้วยนางพันธุมา มงคลนาวิน ภริยา และนางสาวพนาลี ชูศรี อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้เยี่ยมชมสถาบันแห่งชาติด้านเวชศาสตร์ผู้สูงอายุและเวชศาสตร์ชรา ‘อานา อัสลัน กรุงบูคาเรสต์ โรมาเนีย โดยได้พบหารือกับนายเซอร์จิอู ปันเตีย ผู้จัดการสถาบันฯ

 

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้หารือถึงโอกาสความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน โดยปัจจุบันไทยอยู่ในสังคมสูงอายุและเป็นตลาดด้านบริการสุขภาพที่สำคัญและมีศักยภาพ ในขณะที่สถาบันฯ ซึ่งมักรู้จักในชื่อ สถาบันมาดามอัสลัน มีชื่อเสียงและเป็นที่รู้จักด้านเวชศาสตร์ชะลอวัยมาอย่างยาวนาน

 

ในโอกาสนี้ คณะได้เยี่ยมชมอาคารและห้องทำงานค้นคว้าวิจัยของมาดามอัสลัน รวมทั้งพื้นที่ดูแลผู้สูงอายุของสถาบันฯ ซึ่งยังคงใช้สูตรยาต้นตำหรับในการบำบัด
