On February 22, 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest hosted a vibrant event celebrating Thai culture. The occasion began with a warm welcome from Ambassador Dao Vibulpanich, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, followed by two energetic T-pop cover dance performances by the talented ladies of Talents Academy. Their renditions of “Why Come?” by Bird Thongchai and Jintara Poonlarp (GMM Grammy Music) and “Watch Your Step” by BUS (SONRAY Music) brought Thailand’s dynamic pop scene to life in Bucharest. A huge thank you to Talents Academy for kicking things off with such energy! We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to GMM Grammy Music and SONRAY Music for their support.

 

The screening of “How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies,” a heartwarming film directed by Pat Boonnitipat and produced by GDH, captivated the audience. This touching story of family and connection has resonated across Asia and achieved global recognition as the first Thai film shortlisted for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2024 Oscars, in addition to winning the Audience Prize at the New York Asian Film Festival. We are deeply grateful to GDH for allowing us to present this cinematic treasure in Romania.

 

The audience’s enthusiasm for Thai film and music highlighted the profound connection between Thailand and Romania, despite the geographical distance. From warm smiles and teary eyes during the screening to lively conversations over Thai snacks in the foyer, the event served as a beautiful cultural bridge. Until next time! เมื่อวันที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ได้จัดงานฉายภาพยนตร์ “หลานม่า” และการแสดง T-Pop ณ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรม ARCUB กรุงบูคาเรสต์ โดยงานเริ่มต้นด้วยการกล่าวต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นโดย เอกอัครราชทูตดาว วิบูลพานิช เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ ตามด้วยการแสดงเต้นคัฟเวอร์ T-Pop จาก Talents Academy นำเสนอเพลง “มาทำไม” ของพี่เบิร์ด ธงไชยและคุณจินตหรา พูนลาภ (GMM Grammy Music) และเพลง “Watch Your Step” ของวง BUS (SONRAY Music) ที่ทำให้บรรยากาศของเพลง T-Pop มีชีวิตชีวาขึ้นในกรุงบูคาเรสต์ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณ Talents Academy ที่เริ่มต้นงานด้วยความสนุกสนาน และขอขอบคุณ GMM Grammy Music และ SONRAY Music สำหรับการสนับสนุนในครั้งนี้

 

สำหรับการฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่อง “หลานม่า” กำกับโดยคุณพัฒน์ บุญนิธิพัฒน์ ของบริษัท GDH สามารถดึงดูดใจผู้ชมได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง ภาพยนตร์บอกเล่าเรื่องราวความรักและสายสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัวที่ซาบซึ้งกินใจ ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากลในฐานะ ภาพยนตร์ไทยเรื่องแรกที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลภาพยนตร์นานาชาติยอดเยี่ยมจากเวทีออสการ์ปี ค.ศ. 2024 และยังคว้ารางวัล Audience Prize จาก New York Asian Film Festival อีกด้วย เราขอขอบคุณ GDH อย่างสุดซึ้งที่มอบโอกาสให้เราได้นำเสนอภาพยนตร์อันทรงคุณค่านี้ให้กับผู้ชมชาวโรมาเนีย

 

ความสนใจและความตื่นเต้นของผู้เข้าร่วมงานที่มีต่อภาพยนตร์และ T-Pop สะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นระหว่างประเทศไทยและโรมาเนีย ตั้งแต่รอยยิ้มที่อบอุ่นและน้ำตาแห่งความซาบซึ้งในระหว่างชมภาพยนตร์ ไปจนถึงการสนทนาอันมีชีวิตชีวาพร้อมรับประทานของว่างไทยในบริเวณโถง กิจกรรมนี้จึงเป็นสะพานเชื่อมวัฒนธรรมที่งดงาม
